A delicious salad that eats like a meal! Dressing:
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
Salad:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/8 cup sesame seeds
- 1 head leaf leaf lettuce or romaine
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1-2, 10oz can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1-2 ripe avacado, peeled and sliced
Combine dressing ingredients in a jar, shake to blend. Heat butter in frying pan and saute seeds and nuts until golden brown. Add all ingredient and dressing, toss before serving.
